The cultural worker Beat Toniolo was the organizer of the Mendl Festival in Zeitz in 2019. Several events were held at different venues in Zeitz with the actor Michael Mendl. The reading and concert with the title >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. The cameras can be controlled remotely through the use of programmable motorized pan-tilts, reducing manpower and enabling cost savings.

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of BOCHUM Medien-Video-Produktion. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. BOCHUM Medien-Video-Produktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings ...

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. Remote-controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be operated by a single person. This saves personnel costs for you.

TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. This activity led to a wide variety of places for a wide variety of topics. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience makes it possible for you to research all conceivable subject areas in order to produce TV reports and video reports.

Video recording of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

We also use multiple cameras to record interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.

Video editing, video cutting, audio editing

Of course, recording events, concerts, interviews and discussions is not enough. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.

Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
